In a fashion world increasingly driven by identity and bold expression, local brand XROOV makes a striking impression with the launch of its latest eyewear collection, NEON – a symbol of contemporary lifestyle blending the technical and artistic spirit of Malaysian youth.
Held at the Mines Beach Resort, the NEON launch was energised by the presence of over 20 members of the RXZ Members motorcycle community, who arrived in convoy – reflecting the camaraderie and street culture that serve as the core inspiration behind this collection.
“NEON isn’t just a fashion accessory – it’s a symbol of spirit, courage, and individuality,” said XROOV founder Mohd Rafiz Zainal, who brings extensive experience from the lens manufacturing industry in Singapore and Thailand.
The collection features four vibrant frame colours – blue, yellow, orange, and pink – paired with a choice of 18 multifunctional lenses, including options for night driving, UV protection, and everyday wear. It is designed to meet the demands of urban users who value both style and comfort.
Adding further appeal, acclaimed actor Fauzi Nawawi has been appointed as the official face of NEON and also stars in the short film “NEON: Colours of Life” – a compelling story exploring themes of family, struggle, and identity.
The launch also marks the lead-up to a special edition of NEON lenses, set to be released exclusively at the RXZ Members 7.0 event in Kuala Terengganu this August – promising fans a more distinctive and limited-edition fashion experience.
With 24 authorised distributors nationwide, XROOV is aiming for sales of over RM1.5 million by year-end – a testament to growing local support and rising confidence in home-grown brands stepping into the mainstream.
“We wanted to create a product that’s not just stylish, but also offers protection and builds self-confidence. NEON is all about having the courage to be yourself,” Rafiz added.
NEON by XROOV is more than just eyewear – it’s a statement that Malaysian youth have every right to be stylish, inspired, and shine in their own colours.
